Vikings, bloodshed, some romance, and smexy warriors getting it on
By J.C.
This series keeps getting better as it goes on. Almost sad that this is the second to the last part since I've truly enjoyed Colum's adventure thus far.
In this installment, Colum's a warrior and a freed man, but he's worried about what that would mean for his relationship with Viggo. I liked how he was sad at the prospect of never being with his beloved again other than as warriors on the battlefield, but wasn't overly angsty about it.
Like with the previous installments, Colum and Viggo's scenes together are erotic, also rough, yes, but still with the same undercurrent of love and tenderness mixed in with their fiery lust for each other. I wouldn't care half as much as I do about them if not for those added layers. Also "My beloved" just sounds so much better in an MM story when it's uttered by two fierce warriors than it does in a conventional MF romance. Or maybe that's just me.
Niall finally got one of his wishes fulfilled in this one. I still feel kind of bad for him, though.

Great Story, Great Book all Three Highly Reccomend
By Dennis Wayne Crotts
Highly impressed with this writer the first time reading any of his books and most impressed that each book took up were the previous one ended with out any gaps in the story.
I never thought of Vikings like this but story was both very loving , caring but the same time rough and non-caring but the two was so well balance in the story it did not take away from the story. I read all 3 books in one day because I plainly could not stop reading and wanted to know more. I like the ending but it would have been nice if there was a book for to show what happen events after Colum finally got his freedom and started living and fighting as a Viking and what happen on between the Colum and Viggo.

I believe this is the last book in the series - which is sad because I'd like to read more about Colum and Viggo - they're really good together
